School Sponsorship Program

For less than $1 per day, you can give the gift of learning to a child. Only 1 out 3 children in Haiti are able to attend school. There are 4 million children under age 18 in Haiti. This means that a lot of children are being deprived of an education! We truly believe that God and education will change this country. In a country where the average income is only a few hundred dollars per year and school costs $360 USD for each child, you can see that it is impossible for a poor family to send 2 or 3 children to school.

For $30 USD per month or just $360 USD per year, you can sponsor a child in school. You will receive the name of your sponsored child, a photo, a Christmas card colored by the child just for you, and a year end report of how the child did in school. We have a staff member who has sole responsibility for the sponsorship program this year and has set the program up so that it is well organized and structured. You can write to your child and send gifts. This is not a pen pal program where the children can write to you. The children are spread out all over Haiti and we only require them to come to the orphanage twice per year.
